Dr. Wong is an Executive Director and a Deputy Managing Director of COSCO Pacific Limited. He is the Chairman of Corporate Governance Committee of the Company. He is also an Independent Non-executive Director of seven listed companies in Hong Kong.
Dr. Wong is the immediate past Chairman of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (2009-2014), a Non-executive Director of Securities and Futures Commission, a former member of Main Board and GEM Listing Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (2007-2013), a member of Financial Reporting Council, a convenor-cum-member of Financial Reporting Review Panel, a member of Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee of Independent Commission Against Corruption, a Board Director of Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited and a council member of The Hong Kong Management Association, a member of the OECD/World Bank Asian Corporate Governance Roundtable and a council advisor and past Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra Limited.
Dr. Wong obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Andrews University in Michigan, the USA in 1992 and his Doctor of Business Administration degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007.
黃博士為中遠太平洋有限公司執行董事兼董事副總經理及公司管治委員會主席，亦為七間香港上市公司獨立非執行董事。
黃博士為香港董事學會卸任主席(2009-2014)、證券及期貨事務監察委員會非執行董事、香港聯合交易所有限公司主機板及創業板上市委員會前任成員(2007-2013)、財務匯報局成員、財務匯報檢討委員團召集人及成員、廉政公署防止貪污諮詢委員會委員、香港體育學院有限公司董事局成員、香港管理專業協會理事會委員、經濟合作組織(OECD)/世界銀行企業管治圓桌會議核心成員及香港中樂團有限公司理事會顧問及前任主席。
黃博士於1992年在美國密茲根州Andrews University獲取工商管理碩士學位及於2007年在香港理工大學獲取工商管理博士學位。
